The office of undergraduate research at North Central College gives students the ability to generate new knowledge and contribute innovative ideas through a variety of research opportunities. Programs sponsored in our office allow students to collaborate in a research project with a faculty member, propose their own research study at North Central or abroad, and share their work with others at events such as the National Conference on Undergraduate Research. At its core, undergraduate research helps students learn by directly engaging with their field rather than just learning about it from a textbook.
