About the Department

The Department of Art and Design offers majors/minors in Graphic Design, Studio Art, Art Education, Art History, and a minor in Animation. Through the courses we teach, the internships we supervise, and department-sponsored co-curricular activities (exhibitions, Design Agency, S.L.I.P., D.R.A.W.), we facilitate the development of visually literate students by providing opportunities for growth in both traditional and new media offering classes in painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, graphic design, animation, and art history.
