The Chemistry Department offers the BS-ACS, BA, BS-Applied (Biological and Instrumental tracks), BS-Biochemistry, and BA-Biochemistry majors, as well as a Chemistry minor. Our seven faculty members are dedicated to supporting student success across the college—whether students are majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, or even the arts. Our award-winning Student Members of the American Chemical Society (SMACS) are among the most active student organizations on campus. Gifts made to the Chemistry Department on the Day of Giving have supported both classroom instrumentation and undergraduate research.
