Who are we? NCC’s student-run organization supporting the LGBTQ+ community and allies. The group’s roots trace back to 1992, founded by a student who faced adversity due to their sexuality; meetings were private for safety.
OUTreach is not the first name or iteration of this group, but our mission stayed the same -- to be a voice for queer students on campus.
What do we do?
- Create a safe space for students to be themselves and connect with others
- Collaborate with campus partners to increase awareness, acceptance, and direct action
- Host educational events for the wider community
- Provide free period products, condoms, and emergency contraception
- Assist students with bias and Title IX reporting and refer them to relevant campus resources.
