ImpactNC with your gift today!
The North Central College Department of Occupational Therapy has a chapter of the National Coalition of Occupational Therapy Advocates for Diversity (COTAD). This group of healthcare students advocates for the diverse individuals, groups, and populations we serve as healthcare professionals. COTAD also creates a space where culturally complex topics can be discussed openly. The group facilitates various activities on campus, including the annual hygiene and food drives to support local homeless shelters, trauma-informed events for pre-health and health science students, and initiatives that promote health and wellness for all students.
Your gifts with support:
o Sending COTAD students to the American Occupational Therapy (AOTA) Annual Conference
o The campus-wide Bridging the Gap- Trauma Informed conference held by COTAD annually in September
o Resources to support the Revive Centre for Homelessness in Chicago with the food drive.
